Des & I usually don't like to go out on Sunday night for dinner. When we're lazy, he goes out and grabs some fast food then comes home, so we can enjoy the food while watching movie. I haven't cooked in my own kitchen for quite a while. I like to cook at Louise's now 'cause her kitchen is so much bigger and modern than mine. I like to see everybody eating together at the dining table.
Last night, I decided to cook again. Why not make full use of my kitchen before I move out end of this month?
- Del Monte whole kernel corns (no salt added) please avoid Green Giant
- Luncheon meat
- Chinese mushroom; you may use Shiitake mushrooms too
- Parsley flakes (we didn't have green onions at home)
- Onion powder
- Chicken bouillon
- Garlic & pepper seasoning salt (little bitty bit)
Fried your luncheon meat first, then add in mushroom, lastly, your kernel corns. Add in the seasoning, garnish with parsley flakes. Ta-Da!
Another dish!
Ingredients:
- 6 eggs, add little bit of water to make your eggs looks fluffy (It depends how many people are eating)
- salted turnips (this can be found in Asian Market only)
- It should be green onions but I had to use Parsley flakes again for garnishing
- Onion powder
- Chicken bouillon
- Garlic powder (if you like)
This is a lazy version of my vegetable soup. I use whatever vege that can be found in my fridge. You may choose baby spinach, green onions, cabbage, napa cabbage, carrots, tomatoes, potatoes, etc.. I only had cabbage in my fridge last night, so I had to cheat with the packaged mixed vege.
Ingredients:
- Cut cabbage in pieces
- Half bowl of mixed vege
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Chicken bouillon
- Garlic & pepper seasoning salt
- Chinese BBQ sauce
What a delightful dinner!

There were lots of activities at Boomer Lake yesterday. This was actually the first time I watched fireworks in Stillwater after being here for almost 4 years.
This guy asked Des to take his photo.
People gathered around the Lake to wait for the fireworks to start
They blocked Lakeview Road.
Des lied down on the road and Kam took a quick snap of him.
I love this couple.
Wall E's short film. Watch it if u want, but if u think this is a spoiler, then ignore this post. I havent watched Wall E but i thought it's okay to just watch this short film, which is damn hilarious

10pm.
Im sitting here online; the two happy go lucky ones are playing badminton.
Guess what, I am a Malaysian and I don't know how to play badminton. No one said Malaysian should know how to play badminton, but I met this man the other day, who told me that Malaysian girls are very good at badminton. -.-
He probably met my cousin's gf. I wonder where did he get that idea from. I didn't tell him that he is wrong because he doesn't know that I am a Malaysian. =P
