I managed to get the soundtrack from from the Japanese drama called in English 1 Liter of Tears (which you MUST see!). The music is evocative of the the emotions in the performance, but also stands alone. I love the music from films and other sources more and more. Thanks to JenJen for pointing me down this pleasurable road! :)

Is that the CD cover?...it's very nice! The songs definitely remind me vividly of the drama...really really sad! But the music is beautiful!

I love the music so! I often listen to the whole thing when I'm writing to someone. :) I got it off bittorrent when I was DLing the English fansub. Even my "Redneck" neighbors loved the drama! ^^ They most likely never saw a show about modern day Japan before. So, it did a lot of good. I'm not sure if that is the actual cover picture. yesasia doesn't have a cover pic for the Japanese version. The HK version has this PIC. It is certainly worth having for any lover of the series! That you for recommending it too! :)
