Reel Voices: Teens Learn Video and Earn Money, Applications Due May 21
Get paid to speak out about issues that matter. Work with professional filmmakers and other high school students to produce, edit and promote your own short documentary. Apply for Reel Voices 2007 if you are a San Diego area high school student who is interested in having fun while getting paid to create video.

All Reel Voices documentaries premiere on the big screen at the San Diego Asian Film Festival, October 11-18, 2007. Interns are honored our star-studded festival awards gala and receive an all-access pass for the film festival. Interns also receive a $500 scholarship along with meals and possible transportation stipends to other film festivals.

Applications are due May 21.

Two Free Summer Cinema Series
Summer starts early with Shorts on the Beach at the W Hotel. On Tuesday, June 5, join the SDAFF for a night of our favorite short films at the W Hotel's rooftop "beach."

Mo`olelo Auditions for "Cowboy Versus Samurai"
Travis Park is a high school English teacher and the only Korean American man living in a dusty cowboy town known as Breakneck, Wyoming. And when a gorgeous, whip-smart Asian American woman moves into town, he immediately falls for her; the only problem is that she only dates white men. Get audition details here.

8th Annual San Diego Asian Film Festival Entry Deadline: June 15
Got film? Then we want to see it! The SDAFF is looking for the best in Asian American cinema for the 8th Annual San Diego Asian Film Festival.

We exhibit films in the following categories: experimental, animation, music video, short documentary, feature documentary, narrative short, and narrative feature.

Important Dates:
- Entry Deadline: June 15
- Festival: October 11-18
